Now is the time to create and change. Now is the point of power. Think about it: there is never a time when your life is not this moment. Only now is here.

This moment …and this… and this, becomes this eternal moment and it is all there is. Here is where life happens. Once you stop having a mental opinion of your life, you start living. You follow the path that emerges before you. As you take a step, the next reveals itself with infinite spaciousness and ease. Here Self shows you your power. Here time and resources stretch. Simply let life happen through you. Trust — your power will carry you.

Now is who you are in action, not who you think you are in your mind. Here now is where you create yourself anew, moment to moment. The more aware here and now you are, the more consciously you create your reality and create the reality that you really want. To bring about a desired change, live it internally which then attracts the external manifestation.

There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is yesterday and the other is tomorrow — Dalai Lama

The best way to predict the future is to create it. Today is the first day of the rest of your life: behind you are the challenges you’ve met, before you lie new possibilities. Today you choose the direction of your life. Each morning you are born again. — Carpe diem!

In the centre of the point of power is the Still Point. It is a place of deep, quiet concentration. It is the point of perfect stillness, presence, optimum energy and peace. Stillness is a state of waiting in total alertness for something that could happen at any moment. Here, there is no space for the personality: remembering, thinking and anticipating. Here, nothing is holy and nothing profane. It just is and you know who you are in relation to it. Everything around you slows down and even stops. The still point is the portal to the dance with life and you perfectly in step.

The Zone

Sportsmen know the point of power as ‘the zone’. In this state, they seem to have all the time in the world to hit the ball. Athletes in the zone seem to defy gravity, hanging in the air longer than seems possible and performing seemingly impossible bodily feats. The golfer wills the ball to its target — the body takes over and foloows through effortlessly. Dancers and martial artists become the dance, expressing an inner, deeper aspect of their being. They’re no longer separate from the activity, watching the action and reacting accordingly, they’re totally immersed in the action. They become part of the flow, part of the whole movement. They know in advance what is going to happen and react spontaneously in concert.

In mastery in any field, the thinking mind takes second place. A deeper power and intelligence takes over. Here, there is no decision-making process. You become aligned with a deeper consciousness and spontaneous right action happens through you. Mastery of life is the opposite of control.

In the movies, this is the arena of ‘action heroes’, but ‘still heroes’ would be a better name for them. They have the ability, in the face of harrowing prospects, to remain internally completely still. In this way, they’re completely available to the moment and jump into action with perfect timing.

In the Still Point in daily life, when things are going well, they simply go. You’re well prepared, your skills are zinging. Things may seem like the usual from the outside, but everything is drenched with meaning and purpose. You’re in just the right place at the right time and solutions to problems emerge out of the blue.

This Still Point is who you are. You don’t need to try find it. Just drop everything that’s in the way.

Be where you are and wherever you are, be ‘all there’.

The time is N:OW.
